Like all good things, alas, this series must also come to an end (*insert crying emoji here*). But what better day to end our Spooky Season series, than on the day of HALLOWEEN!! Our last segment will be about our favorite supernatural creatures: Vampires!

1. My Sister the Vampire by Sienna Mercer
What would you do if you discovered you had a long lost twin... who was also a vampire??!! That's what this series is all about! Olivia and Ivy find out they're sisters, and decide to team up and uncover the identity of their parents. A super cool series, we love it!
2. Sucks To Be Me: The All-True Confessions of Mina Hamilton, Teen Vampire (Maybe)
Mina's parents are vampires, and she has to decide whether she wants to be one, too. It's a funny book, with a lot of laugh out loud moments, and reading about Mina navigate the ups-and-downs of high-school, while battling with the dilemma of becoming undead... a great read!
3. Dead Is Series by Marlene Perez
This was the first series that popped into mind when we decided to do the Spooky Season series! It's about Nightshade, a small town filled with supernatural creatures- werewolves, vampires, ghosts... you name it! The first book in the series, Dead is the New Black, is basically about vampires, so... give it a read!
4. Vampire Academy Series by Richelle Mead
ONE OF OUR FAVORITE SERIES!!! It's about vampires (duh) and their protectors, dhampirs, who are half human and half vamp. Rose is the main character, and a dhampir, and how she navigates the world of vampires, while protecting her best friend Lissa, is the premise.
There's also a movie, which is actually pretty good! but, more on that later.
5. Certain Dark Things by Silvia-Moreno Garcia
This book is EVERYTHING! Silvia-Moreno Garcia (We also recommended her book, Mexican Gothic!) has an amazing writing style, and the way she weaves Mexican folklore into her stories is simply amazing. This book is set in a dystopian Mexico City, where vampires from all around the world escape to, in order to evade officials. We won't say anymore, except that it's very thrilling and a must-read.
6. Vampire Diaries Series by L.J. Smith
Everyone's probably seen the TV show by now (Damon+Elena FTW!!!!) but the books are completely different! Seriously, these books are the OG vampire series. For those of you who like Twilight, you'll definitely love Vampire Diaries... if not a bit (or shall we say bite?) more!
7. Vampires Never Get Old: Tales with a Fresh Bite
An anthology of vampire tales from our favorite authors! Edited by Zoraida Cordova (whose book we recommended in our witchy faves), this book has tales from YA legends like VE Schwab and Dhonielle Clayton.
8. The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires by Grady Hendrix
Now, this one is on our TBR, but the story really seems interesting! Set in the 90's, the protagonist decides to investigate when kids in the neighborhood go missing and the new guy seems kinda sus...
