It's here, it's here, it's here, it's here people……….
The drama, Psycho but it’s okay, is here!!! Only 2 episodes so far, that’s like 2 hour 30 minutes of the drama and I’m already shipping the lead actors super hard, they could make this a radio show with them narrating and it would still be a hit. (Yeji's voice omg) Trust me! I was in it for Ye-ji but Soo-hyun is bias wrecking me, uff……..
The first two episodes were all about knives and butterflies, which took my mind back to goblin shouting “nabi, nabi...nabi”, heh.
Now, for you to save this to your watch list, think - knives, Tim Burton, best friend goals and visuals.
For the ones who haven't heard about it or are curious to know, the story is about healing one another’s emotional wounds, it’s kind of nice to see dramas that talk about mental health and they added this Gothic-Fantasy, which really showcases the tvN drama style. It’s too early to tell if this will be a big hit but then again, their voices, their visuals and their acting are enough to carry it till the end.
Spoiler's Ahead...╮ (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.) ╭
The leads are complete opposites, one too scary and the other too sweet to the extent it’s annoying. Seo Ye-ji is such an amazing actress, she portrayed Moon Young perfectly ; the psychotic nature is too real *goosebumps*. She is rash, prefers witches over princesses, was probably abused by her parents /father and is a writer like her mom who was a crime writer. Moon Young writes grotesque, scary, horror but morale intended kids stories.
Her stories remind me of the tale of three brothers.
Kang Tae is a soft boi, there isn't much to talk about him, he loves his autistic brother, has a smile that is annoying and doesn’t maintain a relationship with anything or anyone for more than a year.
What more? The leads have a past. When they were kids, Kang Tae liked her but she scared him off, they have a tangled past. I can’t wait for it to unfold, maybe the mysteries of their mothers will also be revealed then!!
The bestie, argh! Need one in life like him, like Ik Jun from Hospital Playlist. He lives with them, shares their likes and dislikes and refuses to leave them alone, because “it’s his life!” Ha….I loved it when he said that.
The editor/boss is such a mood, like man, he struggles so much for Moon Young. Lmao, the text messages to Kang Tae were the best and the 2nd episode ending, when he tries to jump off the building and all his subordinates try to stop him with his shoes in their hands.
So what I wanna say is, I’m scared to write about this without finishing this series because of my JINX!! But I couldn’t stop. Watch it, you guys will really love the feast served. *神메뉴* (God’s Menu - Stray Kids ref. ;) )
If I could really express Moon Young as a song, it would be 7 rings and boss bitch coughs *jang man wol* coughs.
We definitely can't wait for the next episode to come out!
